The XXIV “Dragan Šakota Šale” Memorial ended on Sunday with Red Star Belgrade’s victory in the final against Radnički Blasters from Belgrade.

On the first day of the tournament, semi-final matches were played, where our girls were better than Jedinstvo from Stara Pazova with a score of 3-0, while Radnički defeated Srem 3-1 in sets.

On the final day of the tournament, Jedinstvo and Srem opened the program with a match for third place, where the Jedinstvo team won 3-1 and won third place at the XXIV Šakota Memorial.

In the final, Red Star defeated Radnicki Belgrade 3-0, with scores of 25:23, 25:19 and 25:11, and won first place in this year’s tournament.

Our Milica Jovanović was named MVP.

Great preparation for the start of the season, next week our girls are going to Užice for the traditional “Tournament of Champions”
