In the second leg of the CEV Challenger Cup qualifying round, our boys convincingly defeated Ribola from Kaštel with a score of 3-0, with the scores 25:18, 25:20 and 26:24.
Despite the convincing result, it was an extremely close game, with the visitors having their chances but Red Star Belgrade certainly holding the advantage.
The most efficient players for our guys were Miloš Krstić and Alija Bekrić with 14 points each, Omar Ahmed Dejo added 12, while Aleksandar Bošnjak scored 8 points.
With this victory, we advanced to the 1/16 finals of the CEV Cup, where we will face another Croatian representative, Mladost from Zagreb, who defeated the Spanish representative Conectabalear.
Before that, our boys have a derby round against Karađorđe this weekend.
