The 16th begins on Friday in Novi Sad. edition of the traditional, international, New Year’s volleyball festival.
Boys and girls from the country and region will gather on Friday and during the upcoming weekend will have the opportunity to socialize, but also compete with their peers.
Red Star will participate with four teams, pioneers in 2012. and younger, pioneers, cadets 2010. both juniors and cadets.
The pioneer team plays in Group D with the teams Železničar 1 from Belgrade, Borac from Čačak, NS – Team from Novi Sad, Majdanpek and Kozara from Gradiška.
In the first round on Friday 19.12. They will play against Železničar at 10:00 AM, while on the same day at 4:00 PM they will play against Kozar in the second round.
On the second day of the competition, on Saturday, our girls will play against Borac in the third round at 9 am, then against the NS – Tim team at 1 pm, while they will end the day with the fifth round at 6 pm against Majdanpek.
Pionir are in a group with Proleter from Zrenjanin, Vrbas and Novi Sad.
They open the tournament on Friday at 11 am with a match against Novi Sad, continue in the second round, at 2 pm, with Proleter, and end the day with a match against Vrbas at 6 pm.
The cadets are in Group C with Academy Stars from Belgrade and Letnjikovac Volley from Šabac.
They will be free in the first round, while from 4 pm, in the second round, they will play Letnjikovac Volley from 4 pm and close the day with a match at 7 pm with Academy Stars.
The cadets are in Group B with the teams Vojvodina from Novi Sad, Mornar from Bar, Kulpin, Obilić, Crnjanski and Laki Star from Belgrade.
Like the cadets, they rest in the first round, while from 1 pm they play with Vojvodina in the second round, then they play the sixth round match (the fourth and sixth rounds are played first) from 6 pm with Mornar and end the day with the fourth round match from 9 pm with Lucky Star.
On Saturday, in the third round at 12:00, they will play against Crnjanski, after which they will play against Obilić in the seventh round at 18:00, and they will end the group stage of the tournament at 22:00 with a fifth round match against Kulpin.
Placement matches are played on Sunday.
Matches are played in two sets won to 21 points.
