The junior teams of the Red Star volleyball club played a couple of interesting friendly tournaments over the weekend and managed to return with medals from each one.

At a friendly 4-on-4 tournament in Bačka Palanka where the girls participated in 2011. year olds and younger, we have achieved enviable success.

Team 2011. won second place, girls 2012. year are first, while we are in the 2013 category. In 2014, they participated with three teams and won first, second and third place, and in 2015, they won first, second and third place. This year we participated with two teams and won second and third place.

At the tournament in Varvarin, our pioneers took first place, the MVP of the tournament is team captain Una Dobričanin, while the best scorer is another national team player from Red Star Belgrade, Jelena Teodorović.

A day later, on Sunday, the cadets defeated Radnicki from Kragujevac in the finals of the same tournament and also won first place.

In the boys’ category, the juniors won the tournament in Topola. In the group, they defeated Topola 2-0, in sets 25:20 and 25:22, and Crnjanski 2-0, in sets 25:6 and 25:13.

In the final, they defeated Partizan in the Eternal Derby with a score of 3-0, with the scores 25:14, 25:20 and 25:21.
