Despite a great fight and great play, our girls failed to qualify for the semifinals of the Super League playoffs.

In the decisive, third match, Železničar won 3-1 on home court, with the scores 26:24, 25:16, 29:31 and 25:23.

The most efficient player in the Red Star team was Katarina Stanković with 17 points, Magdalena Obućina and Nađa Antonović added 13 each, Božica Marković scored 11 points, while captain Nikolina Lukić added 10 points.

Milica Jovanović and Tea Stojanović also joined the scorers’ list with one point each.

Congratulations to the Železničar team for their excellent performance and their place in the semifinals.

The end of a truly turbulent season for our girls, we certainly wanted more, but the semifinals of the Serbian Cup, the quarterfinals of the Super League and the CEV Challenger Cup are not a failure for this young team.
