The ninth round of the Banka Poštanska Stedionica Superleague brings us this year’s first Eternal Derby in the men’s competition.

Our boys on Saturday 20.12. from 5 pm they will host Partizan in the “Aleksandar Nikolić” hall.

Although Red Star is currently in better form, that doesn’t mean much when it comes to a derby and we are sure that another exciting match awaits us.

Assistant coach Danilo Stokuća emphasized that although we are under the impression of the defeat in the Cup semi-final, he believes that we will approach the match professionally and find the strength to achieve a positive result.

Middle blocker Aleksandar Bošnjak also agrees and believes in our team’s good performance and victory in the derby.

Partizan has so far achieved three victories out of eight matches, while Red Star has recorded 5 victories.

Another in a series of difficult and demanding matches, but after this weekend our boys will finally be able to rest until next weekend and the last match of the year.
