Most of the junior teams of OK Crvena Zvezda played the last matches of this season’s edition of the Belgrade League.
As usual, our boys and girls have accustomed us to always having something to look forward to, so the women’s cadet and junior teams, as well as the men’s pioneer team, are the champions of Belgrade for this season and have directly qualified for the national competition.
The women’s pioneer team, as well as the men’s cadet and junior teams, finished the competition in second place and will seek a way to the finals of the national championship in a playoff.
Last week, the Pioneers, who compete in the First League, defeated OK Belgrade in the fifth round with a score of 3-1, in sets of 17:25, 25:18, 25:19 and 25:15, while the Pioneers were defeated in the Eternal Derby with a score of 3-2, in sets of 25:22, 21:25, 25:21, 19:25 and 15:11.
The Pioneers competing in the A3 league are in the third round for a 1st place finish. – 6. The 10th place team defeated Steria 3-0, in sets 25:21, 25:19 and 25:17, while the pioneers competing in the Development League were defeated in the second round by the Asa team with a score of 2-1, in sets 22:25, 25:15 and 15:13.
The cadets secured the title two rounds before the end of the championship, so the matches last week were without any result significance, first in the remaining match of the second round for the 1st place. – 6. In the second match, they were defeated by Steria with a score of 3-2, in sets of 18:25, 18:25, 25:18, 25:10 and 15:10, while in the second match they defeated TENT with a score of 3-1, in sets of 25:14, 28:26, 19:25 and 25:20.
The Cadets also played two games last week, in the second round of the playoffs Partizan was better in the Eternal Derby with a score of 3-2, in sets 27:25, 21:25, 25:12, 21:25 and 15:8, while in the second game in the third round of the playoffs Lucky Star won with a score of 1-3, in sets 16:25, 21:25, 25:20 and 23:25.
The cadets competing in the Development League were defeated by Crnjanski in the second round of the playoffs, with a score of 2-0, with the scores 25:13 and 25:20.
The juniors played flawlessly and won both matches, first in the remaining match of the first round they defeated Crno Bele 011 with a score of 3-0, in sets 25:16, 25:9 and 25:15, while in the second match they were better than OK Belgrade with a score of 3-1, in sets 25:17, 25:21, 21:25 and 25:20.
The Juniors defeated the Aces 3-0, with the scores 25:15, 25:16 and 25:21.
The senior women convincingly defeated OK Belgrade 3-0 in the twenty-first round of the Super League, while the senior men were unfortunately defeated in the Eternal Derby 0-3.
