Our boys don’t know defeat in the CEV Challenger Cup!

Another dramatic match and another incredible five-set victory.

Red Star beat Mladost Zagreb in the first match of the round of 32 of the CEV Challenger Cup, with the score 3-2, in sets 15:25, 25:19, 25:21, 19:25 and 15:11.

A very exciting and uncertain match, but our guys managed to keep the score under control in the fifth set and achieve a very important victory before the rematch.

The most efficient player in the Red Star team was Milan Krstić with 24 points, followed by Alija Bekrić with 18, Aleksa Starović added 11, while Andrej Rudć scored 10 points.

A very important victory that gives us a slight advantage before the second match, which will be played on the 6th. January at Banjica.

The better team from the two matches will play against the winner of the duel between Stip and Milan, where the Italian team has a fairly convincing advantage after the first match.
