OK Red Star volleyball players have started preparations for the new season, big challenges await them at the very beginning of the European competition, and the goals are high both in the domestic league and in the cup.<\/p>\n
Compared to last year, there were of course the expected changes, the most significant would be the departures of captain Jelena Stoji\u0107, technician Ana Jak\u0161i\u0107, blocker Sa\u0161ka \u0110urovi\u0107, libero Sanja \u0110ur\u0111evi\u0107 and receiver Nikolina Luki\u0107.<\/p>\n
The already young and promising team was joined by talents from our school, and both experienced and promising reinforcements were brought in.<\/p>\n
The correctors remained unchanged: Jasek Malgor\u017eata, the league’s best scorer, and Katarina Stankovi\u0107 will continue to lead the attack.<\/p>\n
In the position of libero, there is our junior representative Vi\u0161nja \u017digi\u0107, who will be assisted by newcomers Sofija \u0110or\u0111evi\u0107 and Tamara Stupar.<\/p>\n
Technicians this season are two big reinforcements, An\u0111ela Veselinovi\u0107 and Ivona Lazovi\u0107, as well as Thea Stojanovi\u0107, who was the captain of our junior selection, but will join the team later due to an injury.<\/p>\n
The middle blockers are two more young members of the national team, Lana Mija\u010di\u0107 and Magdalena Obu\u0107ina, as well as the already native Aleksandra Janji\u0107, and they were reinforced by Anica Kutle\u0161i\u0107.<\/p>\n
As far as receivers are concerned, a big reinforcement is the return of the champion from the 2021\/2022 season, Ana Lazarevic, with her there are young national team members Simona Mateska, Sta\u0161a Stamenkovi\u0107, Milana Stankovi\u0107, as well as another big reinforcement, Thea Simi\u0107.<\/p>\n
The team will be led from the bench again by the brilliant Milan Gr\u0161i\u0107, while the assistant coach from this season is our former player Katarina Vukomanovi\u0107.<\/p>\n
Before the start of the season, the girls are waiting for at least two traditional friendly tournaments in U\u017eice and our \u0160akota Memorial, while the competition in Europe starts in mid-autumn.<\/p>\n
