The second day of the traditional Dragan Šakota Šale Memorial Tournament brought us more great matches and a great time.

The final day was reserved for placement matches, first Srem and Partizan competed for third place, while our girls played Radnički from Belgrade in the final.

In the duel for third place, the young and excellent Partizan team gave Srem a hard time, and after a great fight, they came away with a victory and third place with a score of 3-1, in sets of 23:25, 25:16, 25:23 and 25:17.

In the final, two well-known rivals met and another great battle in four sets, but our girls managed to outscore Radnicki with a score of 3-1, in sets of 27:25, 25:16, 23:25 and 25:23 and reach the cup intended for the winner of the Šakota Memorial!

Our Magdalena Obućina was named the tournament’s most valuable player.

The cups were presented to the finalists by our celebrated national team player and Red Star Belgrade sports director Nemanja Petrić.
