Our cadets and pioneers took a short trip to Italy over the weekend to collect new trophies.

Red Star participated with four teams, two cadets and two pioneers, at the prestigious, international Glamour Volleyball Cup in Piancavallo, Italy.

The Red Star 1 cadet team reached the final without defeat, where they met the Capella Maggiore team, continued their undefeated streak and won the gold medal.

Our Una Dobricanin was named the tournament’s most valuable player.

The pioneer team, Red Star 1, in a similar manner, without defeat, made it to the finals, where the Maniago Volley team awaited us. They did not allow our girls to be surprised, so they also finished the tournament in first place, with a gold medal.

The most valuable player in the pioneer competition is our Sofija Traljić.

A great success for the girls and a great prelude to the start of the new season.

Our boys, the cadets, were also active over the weekend and came in second place at the tournament in Kragujevac, defeating the teams from Crnjanski and Radnički, but the defeat against the team from Železničar cost them the gold.

The best receiver of the tournament is our Vukašin Paprica.

The boys and girls continue their preparations for the new season, where they are defending their excellent results from last year.
