Our boys failed to defeat Spartak in the first match of the semi-finals of the Serbian Volleyball Cup.

The home team won 3-1 in Subotica, with the scores 25:19, 26:24, 19:25 and 25:21.

The most efficient player in the Red Star team was Alija Bekrić with 14 points, followed by Đorđe Kovač with 13, while Milan Krstić added 10.

An unfortunate defeat and a small advantage for Spartak before the rematch, which will be played in two weeks at Banjica.

Before that, our boys will face Jedinstvo on Saturday and the first match in the round of 32 of the CEV Challenger Cup.
