Our boys recorded their first victory at the start of the new season of the Banka Poštanska Stedionica Volleyball Super League, in the round robin derby!

After a great fight and a great match, Red Star defeated the Karađorđe team from Topola with a score of 3-2, in sets of 25:30, 22:25, 25:20, 17:25 and 15:11.

The most efficient player for our guys was Črtomir Bošnjak with 20 points, followed by captain Tomislav Dokić with 15 points, Dušan Petrović added 11, Alija Bekrić and Aleksandar Bošnjak scored 9 points each, and Nemanja Petić also scored his first points in the red and white jersey, scoring 6, while technician Gjorgi Gjorgiev scored one point.

An extremely exciting match against a strong opponent and a very important victory for our boys for a good start to the new season.

They have little time to rest because they have a duel with Partizan from Bač in the round of 16 of the Serbian Cup on Tuesday, while in the next round they will host the returning Super League team Ribnica in Kraljevo.
