The champion of Serbia started the competition in Europe in the best possible way, with a convincing victory over the Omonia team with a score of 3-0, in sets of 25:22, 25:23 and 25:14.

The most effective player in the Red Star team was Dejo with 19 points, followed by Aleksandar Stefanović with 11 and Aleksandar Gmitrović with 9.
