A fairly even match at Banjica in the third round of the Banka Poštanska Stedionica Super League, but our boys justified their role as favorites.

OK Niš was defeated with a score of 3-0, in sets of 25:23, 25:21 and 26:24.

The visitors started the first set more seriously, seemingly in control of the set and on their way to winning it, when Red Star pulled away and made a turnaround.

The guests started the second set even stronger, but our boys quickly established control of the game and did not allow for a surprise until the end of the set.

In the third set, Red Star decided to leave as little to chance as possible, from start to finish our guys kept control of the score and brought the match to an end.

The most efficient player in the Red Star team was Milan Krstić with 14 points, followed by Alija Bekrić with 13, while Aleksa Starović and Andrej Rudić scored 10 each.

An important victory before the start of an extremely difficult part of the season, our next match is on Wednesday when we play the Croatian team Ribola in the CEV Cup.
