Our girls ended an unfortunate series of defeats with a convincing victory against Srem in the sixth round of the Banka Poštanska Stedionica Super League.

Red Star was better with a score of 3-0, in sets of 25:20, 25:22 and 25:16.

The guests from Sremska Mitrovica opened the match brilliantly, it seemed like they would keep the score under control, but then our girls found their game and turned it around.

A more convincing start for Red Star in the second set, but with a lot of oscillations, the score was nevertheless under control until the end of the set.

Our girls had already fully settled into their rhythm in the third set and controlled the game without any problems from start to finish.

The most efficient player in the Red Star team was captain Nikolina Lukić with 16 points, Nađa Antonović scored 14, Tea Simić 9, while Anica Popadić added 8 points.

A very important victory before the competition resumes, in just a few days, on Tuesday we welcome Radnicki in the second leg of the Serbian Cup, where we are chasing the deficit from the first match.
