A difficult away game and an unpleasant defeat against Radnički Blasters in the third round of the Banka Poštanska Stedionica Super League.

Our girls failed to defeat Radnicki, and despite a great start and a 2-0 lead, the home team ultimately prevailed with a score of 3-2, with the scores 20:25, 19:25, 25:22, 31:29 and 18:16.

Red Star started better and the first set ended in our favor, the second continued in the same rhythm and despite Radnički’s great fight, after two sets the score was 2-0 for our girls.

In the third set, the home team slowly takes the lead and ends the set in their favor.

A great fight was seen in the fourth set, the game was played on a margin, but Radnički continued to play better and after 4 sets tied the score at 2-2.

The fight continued in the fifth set, which also ended in a draw, but unfortunately our girls were unable to stop the home team’s onslaught and after the third round we suffered our second defeat in the Super League.

The most efficient player in the Red Star team was Katarina Stanković with 32 points, captain Nikolina Lukić added 21, while Nađa Antonović scored 17.

Two consecutive defeats that we will quickly forget because in the next round we will be visiting the always strong team Jedinstvo from Stara Pazova.
