Our girls are in the quarterfinals of the CEV Challenger Cup!
Red Star Belgrade convincingly defeated the Danish team Holte IF in the second leg with a score of 3-0, in sets of 25:11, 25:20 and 25:19.
A dominant game with few mistakes and the guests had no chance, from the first to the last point our girls kept the game under control.
The Danes tried to get closer and get back into the game, especially in the second set, but the difference in quality was on our side.
The most efficient player in the Red Star team was captain Nikolina Lukić with 15 points, Katarina Stanković added 14, while Nađa Antonović scored 12 points.
Magdalena Obućina also joined the list of scorers with 8 points, Anica Popadić with 6, Milica Jovanović with 2, while Andrea Maneslović added 1 point.
An exceptional success and a great result, a difficult task awaits us in the next phase of the competition, Panathinaikos convincingly defeated Braga and occupies first place in the Greek league without defeat in 13 games.
The first quarterfinal match will be played in the last week of January in Greece, while the return match is scheduled for a week later in Belgrade.
