Dr. Milutin Mića Ilić, a long-time volleyball player, coach, sports worker and official, passed away at the age of 75. year in Valjevo.

He started playing volleyball at the age of 12 in Ribnica in Kraljevo. He played for the then Serbian youth national team in the youth republican national team tournament.

He played for Red Star Belgrade since 1970. until 1979.

It was the time of the great generation of Zvezda volleyball players when they won the championship title and the Yugoslav Cup.

He continued his career at Mladić Radnik from Požarevac, where he played until 1983, when he moved to Partizan from Valjevo, for whom he played until the end of his career in 1989.

He began his coaching career at Partizan Valjevo, which he continued in a large number of Valjevo clubs.

He was the coach of the senior women’s volleyball team Srbijanka, and was one of the founders of the “Comprex” and “VA-014” clubs.
