Despite their brave play and great fight, our girls failed to pull off a big surprise in the quarterfinals of the CEV Challenger Cup.

Panathinaikos was also better in the second leg with a score of 1-3, in sets of 21:25, 17:25, 25:23 and 21:25.

Regardless of the defeat, Red Star played a great game in both matches and our girls proved that they can handle even the strongest European teams.

The most efficient player in the Red Star team was Nađa Antonović with 22 points, followed by Magdalena Obućina with 12 points, Katarina Stanković added 9, while Milana Stanković scored 7 points.

Tea Simić and Božica Marković also joined the scorers list with 6 points each, while Nikolina Lukić and Anica Popadić added 3 points each.

The end for our girls in the Challenger Cup, a great quarterfinal and full focus on the Super League and the fight for a good placement before the start of the playoffs.
