Our boys on Saturday. May 10th played in a pioneer tournament organized by OK Jagodina in Jagodina.
In extremely strong competition, Red Star Belgrade recorded 4 wins out of four matches played and convincingly won first place.
On the way to the final, they defeated OK Zaslon from Šabac, OK Bavanište and Radnički from Kragujevac, and in the final, our boys were better than Proleter from Zrenjanin.
The team led by coach Bane Nenadić features: Danilo Blagojević, Lazar Popović, Vuk Rosić, Đorđe Todorović, Đorđe Panjković, Vuk Pavićević, Ivan Vitorović, Aleksandar Cvetojević, Petar Šijaković, Nikola Tomic, Dimitrije Tešanović, Stefan Jagličić, Aleksandar Trubint and Strahinja Sekulić.
Strahinja Sekulić was named the tournament MVP, Vuk Rosić was the best setter, and Danilo Blagojević was named the best blocker.
An excellent introduction and form check before the final of the Serbian championship, which awaits our boys in two weeks.
