Our girls failed to maintain their lead from the first match in the second leg of the Serbian Cup semi-final.
TENT won 3-0 in Obrenovac, with scores of 25:16, 25:22 and 25:10.
Our girls opened the match with a fight, struggling to find their game in the first set, but they were an equal opponent.
The fight was even bigger in the second set, Red Star did not give up, but the team from Obrenovac was more concentrated in the final.
The third set brought a completely different balance of power on the court, complete dominance by TENT, opening the set with a series and not letting go of the advantage and control over the result until the end.
The most efficient player in the Red Star team was Nađa Antonović with 9 points, followed by Katarina Stanković with 8, while captain Nikolina Lukić added 6 points.
Another end for our girls in the semi-finals of the Serbian Cup, despite winning the first match, the leader in the table proved to be the better team in the two-legged tie and we congratulate them on their place in the final.
Red Star Belgrade will take a short break during the holidays and travel to Denmark the day after Christmas for a match against Holte in the round of 16 of the CEV Challenger Cup.
