A big fight in Požarevac in the quarterfinals of the Serbian Cup.

After five sets, our boys came to their first victory in the quarterfinal series, defeating Mladi Radnik with a score of 3-2, in sets of 25:23, 25:22, 25:19, 22:25 and 14:16.

Red Star opened the match better, but fought for every point, but we still managed to finish the first set in our favor.

A big turnaround in the second and third sets, the home team first tied, and then took a 2-1 lead in sets.

Our boys came back into the game in the fourth set and won the fifth, which saw a big swing in the score, and when it seemed that Mladi Radnik would end the match in their favor, we managed to turn the tables and win the fifth set 16:14.

The most efficient player in the Red Star team was Milan Krstić with 25 points, followed by Andrej Rudić with 18, while Alija Bekrić added 16.

A big win to take advantage of the second leg that will be played in the last week of November. Before that, our boys have a match against Niš at Banjica this weekend, and next week we start the CEV Cup competition.
