After a series of eight consecutive victories, our boys suffered a defeat in the Eternal Derby.

Partizan won the twentieth round of the Super League at Banjica with a score of 0-3, in sets of 26:28, 23:25 and 18:25, and gained important points in the fight for the playoffs.

The most efficient player in the Red Star team was Danilo Ilić with 11 points, followed by Đorđe Kovač and Milan Krstić with 9 points each, while last month’s most valuable player, Andrej Rudić, added 7 points.

Omar Ahmed Dejo also joined the scorers list with 6 points, captain Nikola Petrović added 5, while Alija Bekrić returned from injury and scored 3 points.

An unpleasant defeat against an eternal rival and the end of a winning streak, but without much significance in terms of results, as our boys remain in first place in the table.

Next week, in the penultimate round of the Super League, we have a duel that will decide who will be in first place at the start of the playoffs, when we host Spartak in Subotica.
