Another medal for the juniors!
Our juniors won silver at the final tournament of the Serbian championship after a great fight.
Our girls opened the tournament convincingly with a convincing 3-0 victory against Leskovac, with the scores 25:8, 25:8 and 25:8, followed by a defeat in the second round against Srem with the score 3-2, with the scores 25:15, 25:18, 21:25, 23:25 and 15:8, while in the last round we were better than Partizan with the score 3-0, with the scores 25:17, 25:11 and 25:12.
In the semifinals, Red Star played against a great team from Omladinac and after a turnaround, we came out on top with a 3-2 victory, with the scores 26:28, 24:26, 25:21, 25:14 and 15:13, and advanced to the finals, where we were met by the Srem team, which defeated OK Beograd with a score of 3-2.
A great fight was seen in the final, our girls won the fifth set, but Srem came out victorious with a score of 3-2, (sets 18:25, 30:28, 25:22, 23:25 and 15:11) and the gold medal.
In the third place match, Omladinac defeated OK Beograd with a score of 3-1.
Una Dobricanin was named the best technician, while Nađa Antonović was the best receiver.
Congratulations to our girls, as well as the teams of Srem and Omladinac on the medals they won.
