Great game and excellent result from our juniors!

Our boys came in a great second place in the country and a silver medal in the final tournament of the Serbian championship.

Red Star played excellently throughout the tournament, we opened the competition with a victory in the first round against the Niš team, with a score of 3-0, in sets of 25:15, 25:18 and 25:11.

In the second round, the host Vojvodina was better with a score of 3-0, in sets of 25:17, 25:22 and 25:17, while in the third round, our boys defeated Lotus from Čačak with a score of 3-0, in sets of 25:15, 25:15 and 25:20.

As second in the group behind the Vojvodina team, we advanced to the semifinals, where our juniors were better than their eternal rival with a score of 3-1, in sets of 25:16, 19:25, 25:19 and 25:20, and advanced to the grand final, where the host team awaited them again.

Unfortunately, our boys did not have the strength to surprise Vojvodina, the Novi Sad team won 3-0, in sets of 25:13, 25:18 and 25:21, and a great silver medal for our boys!

Third place went to the Karađorđe team, which defeated Partizan 3-0 in the third-place match.

Our captain Bogdan Tomašević was named the best libero in the country, while Nikola Milošević was the best middle blocker.
