On Sunday 30.03. The award ceremony for the best junior teams in Belgrade was held in the “Žarkovo” sports hall, and Red Star won a medal in every league in which it competes.

In the pre-pioneer category, our girls won second place, losing in the final to Block Out.

The pioneers are the champions and finished the competition in first place, the pioneers girls team ahead of OK Belgrade and Sterija, while the pioneers boys team, who finished the season undefeated, are followed in the standings by Partizan and Železničar.

The cadets girls team are champions, finishing the season without a single defeat in first place ahead of Partizan and OK Belgrade, while the cadets boys team are second behind Partizan and ahead of OK Mladenovac.

The juniors were weakened by the players’ commitments in the senior competition, so they finished the season in third place, the girls behind Partizan and TENT, while the boys were behind Partizan and Lucky Star.

We have national competitions and the continuation of the season in the development leagues ahead of us, and as always, our younger teams have proven that there is no need to worry about the future of Red Star!
