Another great success at the final tournament of the Serbian championship!
The men’s pioneer team defended their state champion title!
Our boys are undefeated this season and that hasn’t changed even after the national championship final.
As champions of Belgrade, they defeated Lucky Star in Group A in the first round with a score of 3-0, in sets 25:23, 25:12 and 25:17, and in the second round they were better than the hosts Proleter with the same score of 3-0, in sets 25:15, 25:20 and 25:18, while in the third round they defeated Radnički from Kragujevac with a score of 3-0, in sets 25:20, 25:18 and 25:17 and advanced to the semifinals without dropping a set!
Our boys continued in the same rhythm in the semifinals, defeating Crnjanski with a score of 3-0, in sets of 25:20, 25:21 and 25:16.
In the final, the Eternal Derby and a duel with the Partizan team awaited us. A great fight was seen from the first to the last point, but Red Star managed to win in the fifth set and a new title with a score of 3-2, in sets 25:15, 20:25, 24:26, 25:12 and 15:10.
In the match for third place, Crnjanski and Radnički from Kragujevac met.
The MVP of the tournament is our Danilo Blagojević, the best technician is Aleksandar Trubint, while Lazar Popović is the best receiver of the championship.
Great success of our boys, two titles in a row and complete dominance over the past two seasons, we congratulate them on the gold, as well as the Partizan teams on the medals they won.
